On Thursday, September 5, 2019, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research conducted a workshop for "Gender Studies Centers" of Kurdistan universities, at Hawler Medical University.
The main topic of the workshop was preparing a curriculum for gender topics to be studied in Kurdsiatn universities and institutes. It is worth mentioning that Gender studies will be studied by the second and third stage students in Kurdish or English language on the hand of experts who are specialized in the field.
It is worthwhile to mention that Ms. Nazdar A. Brindar-Director of Gender Studies Center at the University of Zakho represented the university in the workshop and shared her views on the topics presented.
